SageKey Software have been active in the deployment and development market of Access applications for 12 years – enabling other Access developers to get the most value from their applications.

Their software helps to make applications seem independent of the Access runtime by stopping the reconfiguration dialog when switching between Access versions and also does away with macro security warnings without the need for a digital certificate.

Download a demo from the SageKey website www.sagekey.com/installation_access.aspx where you can also see the other functionality the SageKey installers can bring.

SageKey would also like to offer UtterAccess readers and users a $100.00 discount until the end of 2009. Simply enter UtterAccess as your promotion code on the order form.

Enjoy!

This week Ryan and I gave the first public demo of Access 2010 Web Database functionality. We tell a fun story about the Access Junkie and his son Aaron and Ryan creates a database that runs in the browser with the backend on SharePoint. Check it out:

I'd like to congratulate UA Member and Moderator and Access MVP Leigh Purvis as he is about to pass the 10,000 post milestone. I was reading his reply to one of my posts when Leigh's post count at the time and the date of that post struck me as an amazing coincidence (or was it actually just good planning, Leigh?)

Leigh has been a UA member since June, 2006. Since joining he has provided excellent help to countless UA members, including me on numerous occassions. When I am dealing with what I consider to be a particularly thorny Access issue, the hope that Leigh will respond to my post is always in the back of my mind.

On behalf of all UA members and on my personal behalf, Leigh, thank you very much for all your help.

Please join me in congratulating Leigh on acheiving this milestone.
