I am trying to create a form that the definition of the buttons changes based on the values in the POSbuttons table. My form will have 20 buttons on it.

The content of the buttons comes from my POSbuttons Table
Id
Type
Desc
ButtonDesc
BN
SKU
Group
Qty
ForeColor
BackColor

The buttons are grouped on "Group" so If I had a Boxes group then I want the Buttons form to show the buttons from that group, The text, foreColor, BackColor on all of the buttons will be defined from the POSbuttons Table. The form will have all of the "place holders" defined so I will have bttn1,bttn2..... bttn20 for the place holders to read from the table. The combo box at the top of the form will define what group we are filling the data from.

I hope I explained it properly. Let me know if I have caused more confusion..

Thanks for the help.

So are the actual buttons named something like..Button1, Button2 etc?

How do you know which button record maps to each button ?

I am currently in the idea stage of the form. Yes I believe that the buttons would be named Button1, button2... ect.

Then we would need to pull the data from the table to fill the buttons. We would pull the button info from the bn field. That would be the unique identifier for each group of buttons.
