Our office runs several XP/Access 2003 computers that access the db on a server. We added a new computer that is Vista/Access 2007. It can open the db and the forms seem to work correctly. Most reports don't work. For example, a WorkOrder report gives the message: "A custom macro in this report has failed to run, and is preventing the report from rendering." The offending macro sets the visible property to No (on format) if certain data are missing. A similar macro called on format on a different grouping header works just fine. This db has had no changes in probably five years and the XP/Access 2003 computers continue to run the program error free. Another problem on this same new computer is the invoicing routine. It prints only the first in the batch then quits. Any of the other computers can run the entire invoice batch without a problem.

Thanks for any help
Ellen

I have had similar problems, not with Vista, but with Acess 2007.
This may not be the best repair, but what I did was uninstall Acess 2007 and load 2003 an all machines.
