I put an ActiveX TreeView control on my Access form. When I go into the TreeView's special properties window the font tab and picture tab are both missing (see attached screenshot).
I'm also having a problem where I can't get the Plus and Minus signs to show on the left. I don't know if this is related to my other problem or if I'm just missing a setting somewhere. I should also mention that if I create a new, empty database, add a form, and add an ActiveX control I have the same problem. This problem does not just affect the TreeView control. It also affects other ActiveX controls like the List View. This post has been edited by hk1: Apr 17 2012, 10:17 AM

To set the plus and minus signs, look for Style under the special properties window.
I don't see Font or Picture tabs either. IIRC, you can set them programmatically. |

They do show up fine on one of my computers but not the other. Both are XP SP3 with Office 2007 Pro. Strange.

BTW Doug, they do show up in the screenshots in your Access Solutions book. That's one of the reasons I knew that I was missing them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

hk1,
Just a couple of things off the top of my head - has the ActiveX control been registered? Under References, are you using (have selected) "Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0"? The couple of A2K3 databases I have that are using the Treeview control, "Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0" is showing up under References. AvgJoe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hat_tip.gif) |

Yes, Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0 is showing under my References. I even went to the bother to download and reinstall the Common Controls. Didn't help.
I see that someone else was having this problem already 3 years ago: http://www.UtterAccess.com/forum/Treeview-...e-t1897600.html |
