Can anyone out there tell me a very simple way to have Access automatically backup my database, named Projects, on a set time schedule; i.e. daily at 4 AM, or weekly on Sunday nights at 11 PM? Also, can I fix it so that I can backup the database by clicking on a command button. I am very inexperienced using Vba. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can use Windows Backup to schedule and automate backups.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools

Thanks for the help. I scheduled a daily backup for 4 AM starting tomorrow. Hopefully it will work.
