Hello,
I have just installed a new PC with new GFX card and its all working fine. I install the GFX CD (the first thing after windows 7 Premium install) or after the mainboard drivers and I get the same issue... I install it and it goes through fine and its happy then it restarts and I get a black screen! MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti I have tried the drives which come with it the drivers from the NVIdia site and still the same problem. I have not yet swapped the card into another slot yet (as I have 2) but it gives a display just not with the drivers. Does anyone have any ideas? Many Thanks James |

James,
Greetings. I'm not sure about this, but do you need to go into the BIOS and disable the on-board video (since it sounds like you're using a PCI-E video card)? HTH, AvgJoe |

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. My board doesnt have onboard video. I did however figure it out last night after some faffing around. The card thought I had two monitors connected (although only 1 was connected) and it was displaying on monitor 2 only opposed to monitor 1 which I was looking at! Its now sorted thankfully and so simple! James |
