I have a form that I want to set up so that the user can either manually enter data in this memo field or click a button to populate it based on a memo field in another table.
The two tables are linked by the WORKORDER field which is unique. Any suggestions? Thanks! j |

You would run an update query from the button to update the the field, but if you are already linked via the WORKORDER field why duplicate the same information? We need to understand a little bit more about the table design and your application. Could you please provide some more background?
