Hey guys.
I have a simple question but can't seem to find my answer. I would like to put a field size restriction so a user can't type past 10 characters. I'm not looking for a warning to pop up. I just want when it hits the 10 characters it just wont let the user type further. I do not want to use the forms input mask. I figured there would be a more creative way out there of achieving this. Any suggestions? ~EF~ |

Just set the field length to 10 in the table design.

Thanks!
I'm looking into freakazeud suggestion Mattj, your suggestion is good but placing restrictions on the form directly gives more control for my use. BUT still a good suggestion for others reading this post. |
