First, make a backup in case you make a mistake.

Open the tables from which you want to delete data. Select all of the records. Press the "Delete" button on the ribbon.

There are two forms in the database for managing teams. One to add teams, the other to assign one or more teams to YOUR team lineup. There should be a form to manage leagues. They may need a bit more polish. Teams which are NOT assigned to your teams will automatically be shown as opposition teams.

I have no idea how you know when a league is Wednesday/Thursday or any other combination of days because that isn't in the current database. You can assign them to a league and a division in the existing forms, though.

Andy.

Search for "cascading combo box". There should be a lot of posts here and elsewhere that describe this technique. It's what you need.

Best of Luck.

Hi Andy,

I'm sorry, I have not had the time to look at the database. I've been tied up with a million things on this side. Looks like your in good hands though.

I have had a go at creating search form but cant seem to get it to work pls someone have a look.

search form is bases on division query and form 1 .

the query will have set parameters as the fields in he query that want to search using drop down boxs are opp team match type league type.

Thanks thats a bit close home is suppose to be select home or away for the game results you want to see then opp team selects the team we played against. already in the query would be a parameter in our team that will say langley B so it will always search for langley B, but will only show results when I select opp team.

That's unfortunate. Your lack of specificity in what you hoped would happen is a problem, isn't it? I couldn't guess how you expected it to work. All one can do is use the form you included and clean it up to work as it appeared to be designed. Sorry, the next round of effort is on you now. I don't have time to continue here. I do wish you the best of luck. Perhaps someone else will have time to try to do this work for you.

Hi george Thanks for you help with this. However I have tried the methods that
cpetermann has surgested to correct this issue but does not seem to resolve it cud you just check it for me.

When you select match type home for example and then type in or add the players name then you select our score and then enter the opp player name and score when you move move down to the next player details to enter it should auto calculate the points ie 2 points per player if they win 21 at home and 3 points per player if they win away. but it does not seem to be auto calculating. just gives me a zero everytime. I can mannualy enter the points but wud prefer it if the points auto entered after the results were inputted.

Also when Skippin through the matchdate forms records without going through the switch board, some of the players on either side disapear then only reappear when i clik in either players box

George--

Sorry, I had assumed in this thread(a mistake, I know) that you had helped Andy design the frmMatchPlayer_sub.

Cynthia;

Anything you want to do is fine with me. To be blunt, I don't have time for the amount of work that will still be needed on this project.

Hi

I know your busy and dont have a lot of time to help any further, but if you could try n figure out why the points wont update I would be very gratefull for your help as I already have been.

ive tried me. function ive done the importing into tables and data into new database still not been able to resolve it.

if my player wins 21 at home they get two points if player wins 21 away 3 points. I do not mind entering them manualy but having them appear automaticaly is a lot easier.

I do understand you busy but if you could have one last look please I would be be most greatfull. issue occures when i go to add new match or if i delete all test data to enter actual data
