I would like to have a command button on my form to print to a non-default printer instead of changing the printers each time. If possible please help me out.

take a look at MVP Albert Kallal's sample code, available for download here. i use it in a multiple-user db at work, and it does just what we need. easy to integrate his code into a project to suit your needs.

Hi ccman69

As an alternative, the attachment to this post in the UA code archive allows a user to specify which printer each report type is sent to and can direct each report type to any printer with drivers installed on their PC.

Assignng reports to printers only needs to happen once (for each PC) and once set up the reports are sent to the defined printer automatically.

May I also suggest this code from the code archive, it allows you to select your printer and paper sizes on the fly via some combo boxes. I use this code (I unfortunately didn't have this example to go off when I wrote mine) and I can confirm it works very well.

Edit: ha, beaten by 1 minute to the same suggestion
