I have an Access database with several tables (about 40 or so). Each table holds data which creates a one page report. Each report has unique formatting. All 40 of these reports together create a booklet.

I then need to give this to someone who will take all these reports and produce booklets from them. The person whom I am giving it to would like all the reports in one big PDF file. I can create 40 different PDFS (thanks to Mr. LeBans) but is there anyway I can put all of them together (with page breaks appropiately done) in one BIG PDF file?

If anyone has any idea of how I can combine the 40 reports into one report or create the 40 PDFs and then combine them into one PDF....

Even if your idea is somewhat labor intensive it isn't a big deal as this booklet only gets updated about once a year.

Thanks for any thoughts you might have to help...

Try creating a forty-first report, and putting each of the forty reports as subreports on that forty-first report.

Other than that, I don't think there's a way unless there are third-party PDF tools out there that can do it.

I am trying the forty-first report idea...I put the first 2 reports into this and it worked beautifully. My only question is the page headers on the subreports aren't printing... I can move them up to the report header as each report is only one page so it doesn't matter. But I thought there was a way to allow page headers (and Footers) to print on subreports. I just can't remember how to turn it on. Do you happen to know that too?

Thanks for the above idea. I think it will do exactly what I want. I just hope Access doesn't have a subreport limit. (of course if I reach the limit, I can then make two reports with 20 subreports each and then another report with these two as sub reports...etc., etc....)

The newest version of ReportToPDF now supports a Merge function. You now can merge multiple PDFs into a single PDF document.
