Anyone else share my problem?
Data macro feature in sharepoint's Access Services has been out since 4/17/12 AM. Problem has been reported to Microsoft and I am waiting for fix. I have experienced problem with multiple Access web databases and on two different Office 365 sites. Problem causes Data Macros in any Access Web database published to sharepoint to be non-functional. |

My applications running on office 365 are working fine as write this.
I use office 365 for billing clients (creating time sheets and billing sessions - that software runs on smartphone, and uses data macros - they are up working fine as I write this). You don't mention what service you are using here and your subject is somewhat vague. There are several providers of Access web services here. So it not clear which one you are referring to? There are even several providers that are not even from Microsoft. So, not sure which one you are referring to, but my office 365 p1 plan for me is functional at this point in time and I did not experience or notice an outage in the last few days. Albert D. A data macro in my database published in Sharepoint in Office 365 stopped working on 25th April 2012. The macro has worked perfectly since January and will work if I save a local copy of the database. Any ideas please? Siân

What plan are you using? Try empting all the recycle bin on your sharepoint site. If you are on any e-plan you can increase your size. this is what worked for me.

Thanks, but we are definitely not over our storage limit and there were only 2 small files in the Recycle bin. We are on Plan P1.
Any other ideas please?? |

I wasnt over my storage limit as a hole either. The funny thing, or good thing, is that sharepoint will allocate a different storage quota for each site on your collection. I had 25gigs as a total but sharepoints default, I think, is 50Megs. So I had to allocate more storage for that site using the Microsoft portal site.
On the home page under sharepoint click manage>Manage site collections, there you can manage storage quota for the different sites. Let us know what happens. |

Thanks for the advice - I couldn't find anywhere to re-allocate space but Office 365 Microsoft Sharepoint support told me that:
"With a plan P1 subscription to SharePoint Online, there is only one site collection. All the storage available in the account is already allocated to all of the sites and is pooled. This includes the public site, team sites, and all subsites." At the moment we are only using 57Mb of possible 14000Mb! So I despair now that I can't find a reason for the data macro to stop working. Any other ideas anyone, please? |

Just as i mentioned earlier. These sites are sandboxed in sharepoint so they wont be resource hogs and take down the rest of the sites. Not only is the storage quota defaulted at 50MB, as you noticed your data macros stopped working close to that 50MB cap, the CPU resources also have a quota.
Below is the screen shot of the sharepoint administration center manage site collections. As you can see i went over my resource quota today.
