Hi, I have a table that has fields which have data and some that don't. I have a form which shows those empty fields which people need to fill in. One of the fields is a date field. what I would like to happen is that the date is auto populated when the form is opened. If there is a date already in that field it leaves it alone. I've tried a lot of different code for this but nothing works. I think I have been working on this project so long I am too close to see the answer.
Summary: a form tied to a table that already has data in some fields. The form only shows the empty fields to be completed. One of the fields is a date field. If that field is already empty the form should auto populate the current date in that field. If that date field already has a date the form leaves that field alone. thanks. |
