Is there any way to enable the date picker on an unbound text box? My ActiveX controls from older versions of Access have stopped working and I'm looking for a quick solution. Any help appreciated.

Instead of an ActiveX control, you can use a user-created date picker based on a form in the way you describe. For example, check out the TimePieces Demo in our code archive forum.

Hope this helps,

Changing your real table name to "Table1" and your real form name to "Form1" makes it more difficult to understand what's going on, not easier.

Hi ic60650,

Since you are presumably using Access 2007 (accdb format) you can show the built-in Date Picker pop-up form when an unbound control gets the focus.

Just make sure the control's Show Date Picker property is set to For Dates and the Format property has a valid date format (say Long Date or whatever) and when the focus moves to the control the date picker form will appear.
