There are two databases on a network drive. The one database is tied to the administrators who enter new employees into a UserTable. The other database uses the same exact UserTable but of course doesn’t get updated like the table in the admin database unless we do a ‘get external data’ and copy and paste the updated UserTable to the second database.
Is there a way to update this UserTable in Database2 with the one in Database1? |

Remove the table from database 2 and create a linked table to the table in database 1

I'm sorry I never did anything like this, involving 2 databases, how to I go about creating a linked table? Any helpful web links? THanks for the quck reply.

Go to to database 2, select the tables section in the database window. Right click and select Link Tables, browse for database 1, select the table.
Then as soon as a edit/delete/addition to the data in database 1 it is in database 2 as well. |
