I am sure this is a fairly easy question for most of you, but I have searched through the posts here on UA and I cannot seem to get a clear answer.

I have a data entry form that contains a date field for inputting the date the entry was made. I have a pop-up calendar which is activated on the double click event and the date can be selected from there. However, about 90% of the time the entry date will be today's date.

Is there anyway that I can have today's date automatically stamp itself into this control when starting a new record entry?
