Just curious...
Is it possible/likely that tables could just "disappear" from a db? Someone in my office claims that tables just disappeared from the db for no reason. I know tables can be deleted and never recovered (learned that one the hard way), but I've never heard of tables just disappearing. Any thoughts? Rico |

Never come across it (unless it was the phantom deleter!)
Have you checked to see if they've been "hidden" (Tools > Options > 'View' tab > tick "Hidden Objects") HTH, Ad PS. Why would your users need access to the tables anyway? This is one of the main reasons for splitting your db - stop them meddling with it! |

I experience a similar thing with A2k from time to time, the list of tables "disappears" from the window, they come back if you switch to queries/reports/forms and then switch back to tables.
