(IMG:style_emoticons/default/iconfused.gif) i have to forms one for input and one to look and find data, i do not want just anyone to be able to input data , is it possible to set a password to restrict input from other users? if so how do you go about it?

there are many ways of approaching this. What I did (which is just one answer) is to set all the fields as locked. Then they can be viewed but not edit.
Then you can either use the username or some other way to unlock the fields. Do you have any user level security now ? |
