I haven't been using Excel 07 for very long and this is my first attempt making a chart with it. I have a simple bar chart with two series (Revenue and Expenditure). I want to make the Revenue series a solid color and I want to make the Expenditure series have a solid color background with angled hatch lines across it. I can't figure out how to do this or if it's even possible. Does anyone know how to do this? In the past this feature was a texture fill and was easy to do but the texture fill in Excel 07 wants me to use a bitmap or some similar texture and I can't choose a simple hatching effect. Thanks in advance for your help.
