Hi, I am making an purchasing program. I would like something that when I enter the details of the purchases, it will automatically create a journal accounting entry.
googled already, searched here for samples and in other forums but found none that fit my need.
Could someone give me a sample of this so I can start with.
Thanks. Badly needed.

When creating a new database, the most important step is creating Normalized data tables. In other words, you should make sure that your data is organized into logical groups of data (tables), and the relationships between these tables must make sense. Here is a list of online articles that can help you get started on the right foot:
UA Wiki article on Normalization
Database planning tutorial Part I
Database planning tutorial Part II
argeedblu's FAQ on Design Strategies
Noah's FAQ on Normalization
Jerry's FAQ on Normalization
GroverParkGeorge's PDF on Normalization

Primary Keys - Natural vs Surrogate
Naming Conventions - Hungarian Notation

Hope this helps,

Why are you posting in Visual Basic 6? Do you have an existing Visual Basic 6 program you want to improve?
