A colleague has an annoying problem. All the mails of the inbox are removed / disappeared each 2/3 days ...

Someone has had the same issues?

Is there a solution?

Actually gone, gone, or gone-as-moved? Can the colleague find the missing emails in other folders?

(I initially mis-read your post ... I thought you were saying you had a colleague who WAS an annoying problem...<g>)

Hi Luc,

Have you checked to see how his settings are for how long to keep emails.
Also if using Outlook to read them using the plug in for Outlook the settings there to sync with Hotmail are set to not to remove from server if deleted.

Thanks for the answers ....

Really, no emails can be found and are deleted after 2 or 3 days from the inbox folder.

The emails are only read into the webbrowser IE, no other application is used.

Have you checked to see how his settings are for how long to keep emails. => How can you this in your hotmail-account?

I looked for this issue already on internet. A lot of people with the same problem but unfortunately I didn't find any solution besides contacting MS ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wary.gif)

Look under the Sweep option button and see if any schedules are setup.
