Graduated from University about a million years ago with a Masters in Mathematics.
Have been a Database Developer since 1998 (wow - that feels old now). I love Access, always have - it's my preferred environment and I love working in almost every aspect of it. (Knowing Jet's strengths but acknowledging its limitations is important - there's a tool for every job, hence I'm a big proponent of SQL Server too). I'm a database developer / consultant / contractor based towards the north of England, working for companies from the north east (Northumberland/Tyne & Wear) down to South Yorkshire. I like having different clients - the wider the variety the better! Have done a lot of work in the legal sector though. Day in, day out I do database development / improvement / consultation, MS Office integration, etc. As well as helping out in online forums, creating examples, co-authoring a book and even writing the occasional article. (I achieve all this by willingly existing on a diet of drinking Pepsi Max and eating Cornflakes! Though I do gladly entertain the notion of other cereals such as Shreddies and Oatibix! What a life huh? Give cereal a chance in your life too. Spread the word. :-) Please keep questions at the forum for the benefit of all.
