Why? Who might be doing the resizing? What (business) reason do you have for them NOT resizing?

Hum, not sure where those came from, but usually making the text boxes larger, and reducing the font size can fix this.
Some of the re-sizing issues are really a challenge for the web, and with a browser you have to kind of "let go" of that typical instinct to have a perfect sized form. In other words, a more "loosely" goosey type of approach has to be adopted. I mean, even the ctrl + mouse wheel will case a form to re-size. Those re-size handles do look new to me – not seen them, so I can't say my advice 100% applies here, but you could check the control anchoring setting for the control(s). Albert D. Huh, it appears to be a Firefox issue. That's the browser I used for the picture. I took your advice and adjusted the text box sizes. The boxes now look correct in Internet Explorer, but Firefox still displays the re-sizing corner, now matter how large I make them.
I was concerned that the re-size corners may interfere with filling out the form on a touchscreen. See the new picture that shows just how wacky things could get with some fat fingers!
