Hi My 'Utter Friends,
I use a pop up 'reminder' form in an application to inform the user that certain equipment is past the due date upon logon to the database, and during it use. It works fine, but I have one user that spends 70% of time in Excel and other programs, and has Access minimized, so they don't see the message form until they bring Access into focus. So my question is, has anyone been able to have an icon, etc. appear in the Windows Task Bar from VBA/Access? I know if I could just get the user to start using dual monitors, all would be well. Whilst this isn't exactly what you wanted you could try mu sample here : http://www.utteraccess.com/forums/showflat...;Number=1359170
This makes the access window disapear and the form always stay on top (so you could have a little access window always on top in the bottom corner) |
