Created this huge report.
Had to redo the design of input, which results in changing the report.
won't bore with details, but, on orig report the important fields were in header section.
I really need to move them to the detail section.
Don't want to have to create a new report as there are 50+ fields and the layout is perfect.
I tried cut and paste, but, just kept in header.
Also, created a new page to paste into, but, still went to header on the new report.
Help, this is a mammoth report.

Hi,

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome2UA.gif)

Try either of the following:

Select all the controls on the Header that you want to move, then

1. Use the mouse to drag them down to the Details section. Or,

2. Click on "Cut" from the Ribbon and then click on the Details section, then click on "Paste"

Just my 2 cents... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/2cents.gif)

It will not let me drag them to the detail section.
I tried cut and paste, it just pastes right back into the header section.....
even when pasting to a new sheet, it pastes to header section.
Is there someway to unlink the sections without losing the controls?

Hi,

I'm curious to see why your form is acting that way. Can you post a zip copy of your db with just the form in question in it? Thanks.
