Greetings:
Is there a method for setting up a notification when someone else enters the database you are in? Ideally, a pop-up window or some other message would appear in this case.. Any help or direction is appreciated! Thanks, Tommy |

I would recommend that you place the database on the server and have Users linked to the database, that way more than one person can use the database at the same time. It's known as a Back End (BE) Front End (FE) setup. The Front End would be each User would have the Queries, Forms and Reports in a File/Database on each of their computer's and linked to the Back End where all the Tables are located.

Thanks for the responses. It would be good to know when some else enters the database, since I have experienced strange things in a multi-user environment, it makes for lighter investigative research..
