Hello all,
I'm sure my problem has an elementary solution but I'm hard-pressed to find or come up with one. I have a single table for which I'd like to use a form to enter data (not edit). There are about 20 data fields, so I'd like to streamline the process, perhaps by having the data from the most recently entered record pre-populate the fields of the form when I open it or enter a record. Is there a simple way to do this? I'm not terribly experienced with Access so I'd appreciate the help. I thought about using a subform and OpenArgs to retrieve the data, but I want the database to be as streamlined and simple as possible. Plus I feel like there just has to be an easier solution. Thanks! |

Welcome to Utter Access Forums! -o!
Take a look at the attached demo from Candace Tripp. It should fill the bill for what you are trying to do... One other question - Are you sure your structure is normalized? What type of data do you need to carry forward? hth, Jack
