Hi,

We are having a problem with an MDE that was working fine on one file server, but isn't when copied to another. When our users allocate the MDE on my file server they don't have a problem. However, when they try to allocate it from their file server we get an error.

The data base we link to is SQL Server 2000.

The error they get is ' can not lock file' and nothing happens. We are not having problems. We have admin access, but the other people have user access. Any ideas???
