I am currently writing some VBA code which creates a query string in code and then copies it into the query for use on a form.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that there is a limit to the number of characters that can be used in a query string, somewhere about 2000 I think. Does anyone one have an exact figure for this? TIA Peter Hibbs. |

Hi Peter, check the wiki Access Limits. Looks like you're around the 64k range. There's a few other limits on queries there as well. IIRC this doesn't change except with V2010 64bit.

Jack,
Looks like I was misinformed, 64K will be plenty. Thanks. Bob, Hopefully the Wiki site has answered my questions. Peter. |
