We are in the process of upgrading Office from 2007 to 2010, plus upgrading the server we are working on.
All of this has caused Sendkeys to stop working. We are now getting an error message: SendKeys action requires Microsoft Office Access Utility Add-in to be loaded Anyway, I know people recommend not using SendKeys but I'm not sure how to go about replacing it. What we are using SendKeys is pretty simple. For the most part, while working in a datasheet with lots of records, we are making ample use of a macro that copies the data from the same field in the previous record, pastes it into the current record and then goes down one record. In SendKeys I'm doing ^'{DOWN} That is, CTRL-apostrophe and then the down arrow key. Simple. However, if I want to do it by the book, I obviously (I assume), set the value in the field with the focus to the previous record (same field), then go to the next record? |

SendKeys should work fine in Access 2010, you just need to make sure the database is in a Trusted Location so the macro action can be executed.
