Hi All,

Anyone know how to place a control on a report and set it's value to a tempvar when you open it? I don't see any events in a web report? I am filtering the report for either Active or Inactive items and would like to note so on the report.

Thanks,

Bonnie

Got it: Make a TempVar based on the value of a checkbox on the form that you call the report from and set the TempVar as the control source of a textbox in the report header.

I'm becoming infamous for asking questions and figuring it out. I'm not doing it on purpose - honest!

Thanks for posting your resolution Bonnie.
You are quite correct that you enable this scenario by setting the Control Source from the calling form.

Good luck with your continued work using Access Services.

Hi
I am also new to Web databases. Could you give a bit more detail on the solution please?
I have a form, "RptFrmSub" with a combo box "Project" and i want to filter my report (Sub report in same form) "RptByProject".
Thanks
