Hello all,
I have a mdb that believe it or not generates a report. The users have been leaving the report open on their desktops and certain columns change to #delete#. I thought this to be a timed out issue so I changed the ODBC refresh interval to a very high number, this did not help. Please let me know what I can do to make it so the entire report can be viewed potentially . . . indefinitely. Thank you in advance, -Kamak |

Work out what records are being deleted and why or change the reports recordsource to a make-table query and have the report based off that new table, this solution assumes users aren't sharing a FE (Local copy on each pc)

"the users are leaving the report open on their desktop"
Maybe we're not talking about the same thing. A report, in Access, is the design for a printed output. I'm not clear on why someone would want to leave open an on-screen copy of the report. If you're saying that the users need to be able to see the data that's included in the report, how 'bout using a "form". Access forms are intended for display on-screen data. |
