When I review a report in preview mode and I click on the next page icon, it often skips more than one page, I can type the page number into the page number box and click return to get to another page.
This has started happening recently. We are running Access 2003 under VM XP Mode. Any thought as to why this is happening and if there is any way to fix it. Bob |

It sounds like your report is too big. One way to test is to take a copy of the report, and squash the controls so it is well under the page size. Maybe even go to half the current page width. Try it and see if you still get errors.
Another technique I heard about but have never tried is to make the background to the report a colour. For example you could set the report header red, the detail section blue etc. Preview the report and see if anything appears on the blank pages. As I said not used this technique myself so cannot guarantee it will work. |

Can't speak for the OP but for me the issue is nothing to do with any particular report. It's just the way the navigation button is responding.
I suspect it could be something to do with the virtual environment as I am also using a virtual XP machine, although mine is in VirtualPC, not VMware. |

Hi Peter. Out of my depth with Virtual Machines. Have not had enough experience with them to know if they cause problems. I have run 2010 on VM without a problem. Hope someone with some experience in the area can help. Good luck.
