I need to retrieve some information from A website then store it in my Access database, Can Microsoft access retrieve and store information from the a website? |

Yes, it is possible, although it may take some doing. You'll need use the web browser active x control. You'll also need to be sure you have these 2 references set: Microsoft HTML Object Library and Internet Controls Internet Controls will probably be automatically set when you add the browser control to a form. Next you'll need to learn how to interact with the browser control. There are several ways to communicate with a website from within Access, but none
are point and click or drag and drop. Much of what needs to be done depends on the interface the website provides. Details from you would help with trying to give a more complete answer. |

I am trying to retrieve MVR Motor Vehicle registration and store it in a memo then search throw it to find owner name, address city, state, and zip code and store it separately in a table then display it in a form And there is another issue I want to upload pictures to different websites from my database This post has been edited by jackni: Jul 18 2010, 05:19 PM |
