I am using 2007 but in 2003 compaitble mode
I am collecting data and storing it in several tables, the data is entered via a form. I want to hold a quality score for each project based on whether or not certain key data has been entered. The ten key items are spread across 3 tables and I want to be able to count how many are present and set the quality filed accordingly, ie if 7 out of 10 are present then the quality score is 70%. is this possible? |

Hi
It's possible(at query level).. but I wouldn't recommend you store the result.. (IMG:http://www.utteraccess.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) |

Hi
If any of the components that used in the calculation are changed/edited then the save result is redundant and of no use.. Calculating it using a query(when needed).. will always give you a real time and accurate result.. (IMG:http://www.utteraccess.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) |
