I am trying to figure out how to sort records in the detail section of a report by one field. For instance date. I tried sorting the query and that seems to have no effect on the order things appear in the detail section. Whats the trick?
Thanks Caleb |

There is a sorting and grouping item under the View menu when you open the report in design view. The setting in that override any sorting you do in the query.
