I have a table which is laid out similiar to this:
DealerID| Date| Metric1| Metric2| Metric3 A030| 1/1/2007| x A030| 2/1/2007| x A030| 3/1/2007| x A030| 4/1/2007| x A030| 5/1/2007| x A030| 6/1/2007| x B112| 1/1/2007| x B112| 2/1/2007| x B112| 3/1/2007| x In my query i am attempting to be able to get a summary that would show year to date numbers. I would like to be able to select the month in which the YTD values were returned. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for any assistance anyone can provide. JC |

I would think you could possibly use a Totals Query to get the desired values ...
.... but it appears you have a more serious problem in your table structure. Metric1, Metric2, and Metric3 appear to be "repeating groups" and will cause you a lot of problems in this application. Can you explain what these values represent in your app ??? RDH |

Metric1 = Service Sales
Metric2 = Parts Sales Metric3 = Warranty Sales etc... There are actually about 20 different metrics that i have data for. Thanks, JC |

These should be seperate entrties in another table that is joined back to this table.
You may want to post your current structure so someone can give you a hand. RDH |
