I have a query that uses the summation tool to add up a field for all records of a related table. It works exactly how I want it to except for 1 record. All of the records Sum correctly except for 1. that one record is double the amount of what the total should be. I have deleted and re-entered data, ran a compact & repair, changed data. Wierd because it only does that for the one record. I have changed data on other records, and it totals correctly but this one is double of what the Sum should be. !?? Any other ideas on what to do here?

Hi Trapper
It sounds to me that you actually have 2 or more Tables in the Query and one Record in one Table matches 2 Records in the other Table. Try running the same Query as untotaled (ungrouped) simple Select Query filtered to the PK of the record you identified and see if this query returns 1 row or more. |
