Has anyone ever experienced disappearing buttons?

It happens when the PC is set up in XP style (rather that classic). I like tabs, but prefer them as buttons as I think it looks more professional.

Any design comments would be appreciated – ignore the red, usually grey but feeling festive!

Hi,
Welcome to UA forums.
I'm not sure if you behavior relates to this, but you might need to play around with the Tools--Options--Forms/Reports--Use Windows Themed Controls option. It is known to have weird effects on tab controls in XP/2003 environment.
