It is not that long ago that theDBGuy passed 20,000 posts (June 7/10). And now he has surpassed the 25,000 mark! An amazing accomplishment indeed. As VTDinh said in June,
"TheDBguy has been a very active member of UA since 20/June/2007...." and that is an understatement. dbGuy, in addition to being a Wiki and Forums moderator, has been recognized as an MVP by Microsoft.

Congratulations theDBGuy and thanks for all your efforts and contributions to UtterAccess.

What? He joined UA on 20 June, 2007 and passed 20,000 posts on 7 June, 2007? I think that should have been in the record books!

Whatever the dates are though, it's an amazing achievment from someone who's both very knowledgeable and courteous and it's always a real pleasure to see his replies.

Hello everyone!

Thank you very much for all the kind words. If you put yourselves in my shoes, you will see that posting 25,000 replies is not that hard to do considering the friendliness nature of UtterAccess forums. Everyone here is so kind and appreciative that trying to help people with questions is almost addicting.

Seriously though, for those who have never heard me tell this story before, I stayed awayed from the Internet for over two years after a bad experience while participating in another forum (think identity theft type scenario). It wasn't until I accidentally bumped into UtterAccess while doing some research on a project that I decided to give it another try. And ever since that day, I've been hooked. I just feel "safe" in this place. I consider everyone as part of my family. So, the 25k posts are just me trying to catch up.

@Glenn & @Doug - Time just flies so quick when you're having fun. Thanks.

@Alan - I'm just trying to follow your footsteps, my friend.

@Glen K. & @Mark - You guys are my mentors on the Admin side of the house.

@Cynthia - Thanks but I think US might be too big of a target. I would settle for a small island in the South of France.

Taking this into perspective. I joined in May of 2010 shortly before DBs 20000 replies. I have managed 2600 since to his 5000. Absolutley amazing!! Well Done

I think if this was a TV sitcom, the rest of us would be sneering at you over our cubicles, muttering, "You're making the rest of us look bad, fella! Slow down and pace yourself!"

I believe you are now qualified to select a prize from pages 37a through 37f (but only the item numbers that are shaded in hunter green) in the UA rewards catalog. Of course, at this rate, you may as well keep stockpiling points, since you're so close to the really high-end stuff... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
