I have successfully placed a Windows Media Player ActiveX control named ActiveXctl4 on a form and gotten it to play using the code "ActiveXctl4.url=(name of file). However, when I try to add command buttons for Play and Stop, all I get is "Run-time error '438': Object doesn't suppor this property or method." For the stop button code, I have tried "ActiveXctl4.stop" and "ActiveXctl4.controls.stop" plus several other variations. The object browser appears to allow you to do this, but nothing works. I think (but am not sure) everything is registered correctly. I have tried to set this up on two separate computers (both XP Pro) with the same result. Am I missing something? Is there something else I need to do?
Thanks. |
