I have MSDE on my PC and have seen references to the new Express Edition. My question is what is the difference between the two can they be used to run a database for approx 30 users max. If not what version should I use. The enterprise edition seems to big/involved for the amount of users I have.

Basically the Express edition is the new version of MSDE for a more current version of SQL server.

The sql server express has no limit on users like MSDE has.
