You can insert a word document as an object by selecting:

Insert ------ Object ----- Create File --- (Select the file) ---- Insert.

Why not Andy? I've had complex financial applications with supporting documentation drafted in Word Objects. It allows you to consolidate your project package. This is a nice feature. (IMG:http://www.utteraccess.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/frown.gif)

Or you can create a new Microsoft Word Document via the same process described above. And no, Excel's cell character limitations do not apply.
