I would like to have a chart which singles out specific events that occured along the a timeline. The best example is Google Finances chart google finance . The chart singles out relevant news concerning a company. The reason I want this is so I can perceive what events have caused a rise or fall in my charted values. Does anyone think something like this is doable in Access? Any ideas?

What are you wanting to store for the chart?
Are you going to store all the actual news in the database? |

yes. I would store the events ("news") on the database.
