Hi,

For some user profiles, an Access (2000) database reading from a text file failes to populate any column that has a numerical value.
Strangely though, if the profile (s) is (are) deleted, then re-created, the problem goes away but only temporarily - until the PC is shut down.
It definitely looks like a setting somewhere, but where?

Please help, someone.
Thanks.

Hi again ...

The codes are correct. I don't really think the problem is with the codes though but with a setting somewhere in the profile for those users affected on those PCs. The same user logs on to another PC and there is no problem. When the profile is deleted and re-created the problem goes away but only until the PC is shutdown.

We recently upgraded to Access 2000 (SR1/ SP3) from Access 97 which had absolutely no issues with this database.

Any more suggestions?
