hey,

when you use combo boxes to point to certain records in a form, how do you go about adding records to that combo box?

Hi

You set the Limit To List property of your combo box to Yes, and then use the On Not In List event to add records.....

Search for On Not In List in Access help files or here on UA and you'll find lots of examples......

i did an access search for "On Not In List" and nothing related came up? i sent my Limit To List to "yes". What do i do next?

Larry,

i went and added that code to my OnNotInList event . . i edited the particulars to match mine ( table names etc) but nothing happened. . . how does it work?

the db is almost a gig, which parts should i export? someone help . . i'm having alot of trouble with this one

ok i checked out the database, but i don't understand how you add *new* records to that combo box? sorry i dont' know too much coding
