I am building a database for a small school. I have created a table that lists each course that we offer. Adding a new record to the table adds a new course to our schedule. Presently, just to test the sysem, the table has 19 dummy records in it.
I have created a split form based on the table so that our staff can easily enter data. Now here is the odd part. When I open the split form only 5 of the 19 records appear on the form and the data sheet below it: three duplicates of record #18 and two duplicates of record #19. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. Peter |

Sorry, the above information is not complete. The split form is based on a query that I made to populate the table. Not sure if this makes any difference.

Hi
If you have created a query s the record soiurce for the Form have you more than 1 table in your query? If you have more than 1 table this would indicate that you are retrieving data from the 1 side of the Relationship together with data from the Many Side. If this is the case then Yes you will get duplicate Records depending on how many Child records you are retrieving Mike |
