Hey guys
oes anybody know anything about the following error:
Run-time error '3044'
F:\........\TrainingData.mdb is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.
To me it should be connecting to .mdw file not .mdb.

Yes there is a way to change the path of the link mdb ....
If fIsFileDIR("\\ServerName\SharedFolder\BE.mdb") = 0 then
docmd.TransferDatabase acLink ... '*** link to local mdb
else
docmd.TransferDatabase acLink ... '*** link to server
endif
Function fIsFileDIR(stPath As String, _
Optional lngType As Long) _
As Integer
On Error Resume Next
fIsFileDIR = Len(Dir(stPath, lngType)) > 0
End Function
