Hi,
I am trying to upload a spreadsheet to the access table by the import option. However, I get an error message, "Subscript out of range".
I have checked the table headers with the spreadsheet header, the data type in access which are fine.
Can anyone kindly advise?
Many thanks,
SG

possibility:
1. check your spreadsheet header, do they have corresponding one in the table of your db?
or
2. restart your access.

If possible, i would suggest giving the excel spreadsheet the eye ball test. the headers could be ok but one of the cells could be wrong. For example, you have a zipcode field as numeric and someone put in TBD.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
Ocopied and saved the excel file at a different location with only sheet. I could then upload it.
I also, closed the access and restarted it. I then tried to upload the original excel file and I was able to upload it this time.
The problems and solutions sometime defies logic or technical expertise !
Thank you so much again.
Cheers,
S
