I am using Office 365

I plan on creating a new website with bluehost.com that collects customers data and stores them in a DB

I plan on building the site with wordpress, which I am new to.

Years ago, I would copy/paste this data from the email I got with all the info into my access 2003 DB

I would like to be able to open my access db and import all new data directly from my website. This would have me hundreds of hours of work over the year.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

Almost anything is possible. I added a button on a form to pull customer financial data from a website. The catch, a web service has to be created to accept my request and provide the information to the database. So, what I am saying is you may have to create a web service, which your Access database can query for the data.

Just my 2 cents...

Thanks DBGuy for pointing me in the right direction - Love learning new tech ...

I just finished a preliminary search for creating such a file for my web site that I can then install for my MS Access, but came up empty.

Can you recommend where I can go to get a program that will help me create the "Web Service connection file" or a site that will point me in the right direction?

Thanks again,

Mike
